UCS Hampstead
David Miller Architects
An animation and a set of stills that let UCS show the scheme rather than describe it.
David Miller Architects' scheme does three quiet things: it draws counselling, nursing and GP care into a single wellbeing hub; it gives the performing arts a proper home in a 128-seat auditorium with dance, drama and music rooms; and it hands the youngest Senior School pupils a room of their own. The task was less to describe rooms than to argue for them - to show what it feels like to be a pupil with somewhere to belong.
